Day 31 of the 31 Day Challenge (last day people!!) is ‘Honour Nails You <3’. As I may have mentioned once or twice, I have a lot of love for The Nailasaurus. Her Great Gatsby manicure is what got me interested in Nail Art in the first place!
I decided to try creating this look with nail vinyls instead of striping tape, to see how it would come out. I’m really pleased with the result – it’s not a direct copy, but it’s bold in its own way 🙂
I started with two coats of OPI Goldeneye as a base.
Once completely dry, I added the nail vinyls in a similar pattern to the original.
I painted over a coat of OPI Lady in Black and carefully peeled back the nail vinyls.
As always, I finished with a coat of HK Girl.
