Day 28 is ‘Inspired by a flag’. I chose something a bit different – the national flag of Honduras. Partly because it was one of the more simple designs, but more because of a project that’s truly inspiring.
Kenco, one of our biggest UK coffee brands, has launched a scheme in Honduras to help young people build a future in coffee farming. Honduras is a beautiful, beautiful country, but it is also an extremely dangerous one, where many young people have little option but to go into gangs. It’s a radical, brave and awesome project.

For this mani, I painted a base of Models Own Hypergel White Light.
Once completely dry (COMPLETELY PEOPLE!), I used nail vinyls and Barry M Gelly Damson to create the blue stripes.
I then took a thin striping brush to create the five stars in the middle of the flag.
As always, I finished with a coat of HK Girl.
Enjoy! 🙂
